The Black Hole Week Ends With a Blast!
The Black Hole Week came to an end last night with a loud bang. Many thousands of people, from locals to tourists, joined us for an exhilarating week of events celebrating black holes. We reached all corners of Copenhagen and beyond, with talks and workshops at the iconic Round Tower, exhibitions at Kongens Nytorv and the Planetarium, performances at KoncertKirken and the Opera Festival, a film screening at Gloria Biograf, a Mindscape podcast episode and, for the great finale, a night of pure science and cocktails at the DR Koncerthuset which brought together five of the leading figures in the field of Black Holes.
For a recap of all the events of the week, check out our logbook.
A special thanks goes to the amazing organizing team who made this possible: Ana, Ariadna, Emily, Fanny, Guangzi, Jose, Leart, Lorena, Lucía, Marica, Rico, Rodrigo, Simon and Vitor.
We extend our thanks to Johan Samsing, Marta Orselli, Niels Obers and Troels Harmark for their invaluable help.
A big thank you to the lovely city of Copenhagen. See you in 2028!
