Reflecting on Gravity, the CoG Completes Another Retreat

The CoG just came back from a two-day retreat to welcome new members, reflect on the science and to find ways of improving even more the environment in our wonderful Center of Gravity.

This year’s retreat took us to the beautiful Fuglsang Herregaard on Lolland, south of Denmark. The surrounding nature offered plenty of opportunities for relaxing and fun activities – from garden games and hikes to a refreshing dip in the nearby Baltic Sea for the brave. And in rainy nights, card games or inspirational discussions on academia, the impostor syndrome, and balance in life.

Over two days, we explored the future of science, engaged in discussions about our work, and shared seminars and workshops that invite reflection and exchange. We exchanged thoughts and awareness on outreach and project proposals, while enjoying late night discussions.
